As an agent who has lived and worked in the Grand Valley most of my life, I am an expert in this local area. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling real estate here. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information. I am eager to serve you.
Here are some of the things I can do for you:
Find Your Next Home
You need someone who knows this area inside and out! I can work with you to find the right home at the right price for you, including all the neighborhood amenities that matter - not to mention the essential criteria you have for your ideal home
Sell a Home
When it's time to move, you need someone who will advertise your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I can take care of everything you need, from start to close.
Consult on Home Selling Tactics
Oftentimes buyers don't visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience - which can help you get top dollar. Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that's sold fast.
About me personally:
I am married to my wonderful husband, and have one son, daughter-in-law and 2 gorgeous granddaughters. All are who I consider to be my real reason for existence on this planet.
When I was in my 40s I had a realization: I had never pushed myself to be my best physically. I decided I would set that as a goal to be reached by the time I was 50. So I started working out. For 2 years I just did the circuit everyday before work. One day the gym owner came by and suggested that I should try running because of the way I hit the stair master so hard. So I took the challenge and decided I would add to my goal, running the Rim Rock Run by the time I was 50. This is the road that runs over the Colorado National Monument and climbs over 2000 vertical feet. (At that time it was not a full marathon, but a respectable 22.6 miles.) Which I did. Since the first time, I have completed the Rim Rock Run 4 more times, which other than being a mom and grandma, is my only claim to fame.
My work history
I worked for many years as administrator of a large nonprofit that employed 43 staff. In 2005 I began selling real estate and have loved my job ever since.
